Dan Garrett

Chief Technology Officer

Dan Garret joined AMI Entertainment in 2006 and serves as Chief Technology Officer, leading the company's technology strategy and the evolution of the platforms that power AMI's entertainment ecosystem. He has been instrumental in transforming the traditional jukebox into an interactive digital entertainment network that brings together venues, patrons, and operators through connected devices, mobile applications, and cloud-based services.

Before becoming CTO in 2022, Dan served as Director of Software development and later Vice President of Software, where he led teams that built the technologies powering AMI's digital entertainment network and mobile engagement platforms.

Prior to AMI, Dan held software engineering and technology leadership roles at Patterson Companies and Apropos Technology. With more than 30 years of experience in software engineering and platform architecture, he continues to focus on advancing technologies that enhance patron engagement and interactive entertainment experiences in social venues. Dan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Management from Eastern Illinois University.
