What is a Blast Notification?

 

Blast Notification messages are push notifications that can be created in Co-Pilot and sent to AMI Music app users.

 

Can I change the wording of the notification?

 

Yes. The text provided is just a suggestion and can be customized to suit your needs. The title is limited to 40 characters and for optimal display, we recommend using 155 characters or less in the body of the message.

 

Who will get the notification?

 

Blast Notification messages for this campaign are configured to be sent to users of the AMI Music app that have purchased a song at your location one or more times since November 2019.

 

When will customers get the notification?

 

Once you select Send Now – I’m Ready!, the notification will be reviewed by the AMI team and will be sent within 24 hours, providing there are no errors with your message. If there is an error, you will be contacted via email.

 

Our opening date got pushed back! Can I change the send date of the message?

 

Yes. The notifications don’t go out until you send them. The messaging page in Co-Pilot can be amended at any point up until the Send Now – I’m Ready option is selected.

 

Can I select a specific day and time to send the notification?

 

Notifications can not be scheduled, only sent or saved. If you want to send it right away, click Send Now – I’m Ready! Otherwise, close the app and the message text will be saved until you are ready.

 

What happens if 2 location managers configure a message? Will 2 messages be sent?

 

Only one notification will be sent. The message can be changed and saved until the Send Now – I’m Ready option is selected. Any edits made and saved will overwrite the previous messaging.

 

Can I send messages more than once?

 

Yes. This feature is available for you to send notifications to your users once every calendar month. The feature automatically resets the first Monday of each month.

 

Is there a fee associated with this campaign?

 

No. There is no cost for sending the message.

 

Is this feature also available to operators?

 

Yes. All features available to Location Staff are always available to operators.

 

Is this feature available on the Operator Dashboard (amintertainment.net)?

 

No, Blast Notifications can only be configured via Co-Pilot.

 

I’m an Operator and I want to configure this messaging for a location. How can I do that?

 

  • Log in to Co-Pilot
  • Tap View All Locations
  • Touch the location name you wish to configure
  • Tap Control System
  • Touch the Promote tab at the bottom of the screen
  • Select Create First Blast to be taken to the message page
  • Tap Configure My Blast and create the notification text
  • Tap Save & Continue to save the text
  • Tap Send Now – I’m Ready to schedule it immediately or exit out of Co-Pilot.
  • The text will be saved until you are ready to send it.
