AMI’s New Giveaway Bids a ‘Long Goodbye’ to the Eagles

AMI is offering a new contest, dedicated to the essential hits of rock band, the Eagles. One winner gets a 6LP To The Limit: The Essential Collection and a 3CD To The Limit: The Essential Collection + lithograph. This giveaway runs from April 12, 2024 through April 24, 2024. Everyone can enter using the AMI Music app available on iOS and Android, or on any participating AMI Jukebox.

 

Formed in Los Angeles in 1971, the Eagles’ quickly rose to fame with their unique blend of rock, country, and folk influences, becoming pioneers of the “California sound.” The original lineup consisted of Glenn Frey, Don Henley, Randy Meisner, and Bernie Leadon, who came together after performing on Linda Rondstadt’s self-titled 1972 album. Throughout the 1970s, the Eagles released a string of critically acclaimed albums, including Eagles (1972), Desperado (1973), On the Border (1974), One of These Nights (1975), and Hotel California (1976). The band is also well known for having the best-selling album in the United States: Their Greatest Hits (1971-1975) has sold over 38 million copies and is rated 38x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

 

After more than 50 years of touring and consistently selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide, the Eagles will embark on their final tour, “The Long Goodbye.” From the band’s official website:
