Win the band’s eight studio albums
AMI Entertainment Network a new contest giveaway for Muse celebrating their new album, Simulation Theory. Contestants enter for a chance to win the new album along with Muse’s entire studio album collection on vinyl. Simulation Theory released on November 9th and is the eighth studio album from the British band. All eight albums are included in the grand prize. The contest is open now and ends November 21. Music fans can enter the contest using the AMI Music app, available on iOS and Android. Contest entry is also available using any participating AMI jukebox.
Simulation Theory deals with themes of virtual reality, augmented reality and simulation becoming part of reality. The band seeks to evolve their sound in the new album, adding more electronic, orchestral, and experimental elements. This deviates from their previous album, Drones (2015), and the classic guitar, bass, and drums sound.
Muse formed during the mid-90s after the band members met at Teignmouth Community College in England. After building a fan base for a number of years, they released their first album, Showbiz, in 1999. They followed that up with Origin of Symmetry in 2001. Their third album, Absolution (2003), was the first of five consecutive UK number-one albums. Their 2006 album, Black Holes and Revelations, brought wider international success for the band.
Muse took on more political tones in their next three albums. 2009’s The Resistance explored themes of government corruption, while The 2nd Law (2012) dealt with themes related to climate change and civil uprising. 2015’s Drones was a concept album dealing with drone warfare and was a return to their hard rock sound.
